LIfe and its connection with Nature

Life and its connection with Nature

In the technological era we easily get connected to the world we have ever imagined. Man ever wanting gets connected through social networking sites like facebook, mypsace, classmate and twitter to explore the views of other people, their habitats and culture. He shares his joys, expresses his apprehension, seeks attention and companion and also use as a tool to pent up his emotions.  So, it has become a virtual meeting place.

The whole picture of life in this technological age is painful.  We constantly strive for happiness sitting on websites but it has become never enduring process. Even People who are involved in practical jobs, hardly find time to look around either in office or at home. Rather, they log in to internet when free to get connected to the world, doubtless to say that it has become a global village. The primary motive is to find happiness. But the matter of fact is that by connecting, we import the garbage from one mind to another mid without any border restrictions. This further creates some psychological problems also. Psychologist Maggie Jackson argues that ‘it undermines the ability to focus, concentrates and attend to deeper and more substantive issues in life that are bedrock of intimate social relationship, wisdom and advances in culture’. Nicholas Carr argues ‘that the ability to concentrates to think and to follow and argument must be nurture through practice which occurs when we engage with complex ideas and arguments’. Moreover, it deeply affects the health and decrease our immunity power which results in social, physical and emotional imbalance. For this reason we need to entail with nature and environment to keep healthy mind, body and soul.

What is important, I believe, is to explore the powerful force of nature and the people around us. It is great to fulfill our dream but greatest to fulfill other’s dream. It is great to lessen our sufferings but greater to lessen the sufferings of others.  I expect that money is the abstract form to achieve happiness, which people would barely share. But it is also possible without offering any material help. Listening to the people around us, who tested the fruitlessness of their effort, visiting to hospitals and other public places to interact with the people will give the same kind of sensation and happiness, considering the people as one determinant of nature.

When we are close to nature we get uncountable things to learn. In this technological age, people want to increase the momentum of everything where nature teaches us to go slow. If we observe the whole growth process of plants, it takes sufficient time to grow. The time which is consumed by the plant, developing itself from seeds to trees gives the immense potential to withstand for thousands of years. in consequence,  nature teaches us to go slow without becoming an operative machines.
People get disappointed   when the result of his efforts and struggles are not calculative. Their hearts get scratched and bruised and there is a continuous struggle between their heart and head. Their life swings like a pendulum between pain and continuous struggle for resultant which leads to pessimistic life. Plants and trees also get damaged by heavy rain and storm. The resilience powers of plants are higher and it can withstand even after that. One needs to learn from trees to increase their resistance. We need to perceive that life will bring endless change and complexity of series of events.

Some of the transnational companies sooner or later have recognized the constant sufferings of people in contemporary times.  Fastrack has set their punchline “MOVE ON” which indirectly gives the message to make ourselves compatible with the change.  Similarly, Blackberry has laid “KEEP MOVING” for its new product and Fiat has set “MAKE THE MOVE” for its new car.  Without giving dynamic explanation these companies is giving message not only to shift the brand but also for vertical and horizontal expansion of life.  It is the tendency of the people to get heartened and disturbed by the external world and get stucked in his life. Aristotle argues that there is a power within us that mould every form, in plants and planets in animals and men. So instead of examining everything around us we need to look within ourselves to bring change.
Gardening and nurturing the plants require ‘silent patience’ because the processes of growth in plants are rather slow but wonderful and amazing. One who nurtures the plants and see the growth in plants and trees, in-front of his eyes have tremendous propensity to care for other human beings too. Thus, I believe that a man cannot be too harsh and morally unworthy if he cares for nature.

Chirping and tweeting of birds sitting on trees gives same soothing effect to mind what music gives. It includes melody and harmony which makes our soul graceful. A person with graceful heart can hardly think to harm others which will also help to deter crimes in the present state of affairs. So more we dissect the lives of plant, more we find the roles and reasoning of plants in our lives.

In nurturing the relationship we need to derive the same level of patience and endurance. Today’s relationship specifically love(usually called) is fundamentally driven by sensual pleasure or just to be a center point  of attraction at a place. Their relationship is primarily based on exchange. So during the process of exchange when exceptions are not met, makes one anguished whereby it becomes the cause of disappointment. We analyses all the mysterious hints, every moment and get immersed in depression. But even in the plant kingdom a dry seed preserve its life for three thousand years and waits for the favorable situation to grow up as a plant. Here my primary message is to endure the life sustaining patience and secondary message is that the alignment of soul-mate is determined by the mysterious force of nature. So, feelings should be restricted, limited and should be kept concealed. It should appear only in favorable circumstances and when there is a strong mutual understanding of acceptance and conformity.  Every case of falling in love(happens umpteen times) should be examined and verified that it is not merely an attraction directed by loins or willingness of possession but reciprocation. Inclination towards the nature will restrain the people to become ‘shrwed’ and ‘cunning’ and it will give the courage to accept the things boldly. I hope for the time when people will start to synthesis and interpret their sufferings, misery and losses considering the nature as a teacher to find the natural explanation.

However, human beings are not adaptive machines where he will take all the calculative steps. We can examine the surface of earth because it appears but we do not know, what is inside the crust…? Similarly, it is difficult to scrutinize the personality of the people. Human beings are likely to commit mistakes but it should not be considered as fixed or unchangeable.  People are not born to correct their part of past or the entire past but blessed that they can ‘move’ ahead in their life. To ‘move’ one constantly needs to practice because it requires adequate effort to come out from the cosy moments.

Change is the constant phenomenon which has been descried even in our religious book ‘Gita’.  The rotation and revolution of the earth, is the constant changing phenomena which when once stopped may disrupt the whole mechanism of this universe.  Our life starts decaying once we stop for any reason.

A moving picture is apparently not a moving picture but only a series of snap-shot. It is taken in rapid succession which creates the illusion of continuity. Life is also divided into the static pretense and we loses energy to maintain the momentum and continuity. Hence, it is important to see our life with great optimism and vivacity and to move onward and upward with molecular prudence.

Hu(wo)man are by  nature geometricians which is merely an illusion. They measure and calculates there every activity but as the life grows, there alternatives are also amplified. Each moment there is something new which we might have never supposed, so change is more fundamental.  Thus, existence on this earth will bring the change and it is pertinent to be mature to adopt and adapt with the changes. Ideal maturity is not something when we are operational with the sexual ability to perform but to adapt and adjust in accordance with the format of time to make it perfect.  Perfection is again an illusion if we make it as an aim of life. Nevertheless, I would say that it is an ever enduring process of approaching, maturing, filtering and perfecting.
